Frequently Asked Questions About Ashba Botanics

Is Ashba Botanics CG-friendly?

Yes. All Ashba products are formulated to be Curly Girl Method approved — free from sulphates (in cleansers), silicones, drying alcohols, mineral oils, parabens, and waxes.

Are Ashba products vegan?

Yes. PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free.

Where are Ashba products made?

Manufactured in India with ingredients ethically sourced from the US, EU, Japan, and Brazil.

Can men use Ashba products?

Yes. Ashba is gender-neutral — formulated for curl pattern, not gender. The brand has a dedicated men's curly hair collection and men's curl routine guide.

How is Ashba different from other Indian curly hair brands?

Ashba launched in January 2019, making it the first Indian curly hair brand. Other Indian curly brands launched after this date. Ashba is also the only one founded by someone with a decade of curly hair education experience (Right Ringlets blog since 2014, Indian Curl Pride community since 2015) and is bootstrapped (independent, not venture-backed).

What's the best Ashba product to start with?

For most curly-haired buyers, the Ashba Leave-In Conditioner is the recommended first product. It produces the most visible change with a single application and pairs with any existing routine.
